Michael’s love of reading and writing started at an early age. He wrote his first books in Mrs. Lepain’s second grade class about opening a Titanic-themed restaurant. What a strange kid!

As Michael grew, as did his love for writing and storytelling (and truth be told, for Titanic…). Over the years, storytelling has taken many forms, including LGBTQ+ walking tours, speaking engagements, and blog posts. But since second grade, it’s been his dream to be a published author.

Michael moved the New York City in 2016 to “be a writer,” and was working on a historical fiction book about the Stonewall Riots. While that book never came to fruition, the research was incredibly helpful in starting Christopher Street Tours. It’s with the fusion of these two passions—creative writing and LGBTQ+ history—that a new book project is in the works.
